Our Statement of Purpose:
“The congregation is organized for the purpose of supporting worship of Almighty God and instruction in the Christian religion, following closely the Constitution of the Presbyterian Church (USA).”
Our Statement of Mission:
“Connecting all generations to Christ through loving God, growing together, and serving the world.”
- We Love God with all that we are: mind, body, heart and strength
- We Grow Together as Christ’s disciples, taught and shaped by God’s Word.
- We Serve Others, in word and deed, with the love of Christ.
Our Core Values:
As a community of Christ’s disciples, we expresses our beliefs and convictions through these core values:
- Love & Compassion: In the love of Christ, we value the sacrificial service of others without the expectation of anything in return. (Matthew 22:37-40; Mark 10:45).
- Biblical Truth: As those who live under the authority of Holy Scripture, we are dedicated to communicating the life-changing message of Jesus Christ by faithfully teaching, preaching, studying, and obeying God’s Word. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Colossians 3:16).
- Service: We are called to humbly serve others through Jesus Christ by always moving forward to do the work the Lord puts before us. (Luke 9:51-62; 1 Kings 19:19-21; Luke 10:1-4).
- Gratitude: Gratitude is our positive response to the grace of God, by offering thanksgiving, sharing love, and giving freely to others. (Luke 17:11-19; Acts 9; Daniel 6:1-10; John 4).
- Spiritual Growth: Spiritual growth is a lifelong journey through which God opens our hearts, transforms our character, and depends our faith in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:11-16; 2 Peter 1:5-8 and 3:18; Colossians 2:6-7; Galatians 5:22-23).
Our mission statement and core values form the foundation of who we are as a body of believers in Jesus Christ. They guide all we do, from our ministries to how we interact with one another. We covenant to hold our church and each other accountable to this mission and these values.
