In 2009 the congregational leadership at Trinity adopted a new vision statement.

“We are a welcoming church family that develops disciples who joyfully minister to others in the name of Christ.”

On the one hand this brief statement defines who we are by God’s grace, on the other it serves as a guide for all that we do. We have this sentence posted in many rooms around our buildings, as well as on the cover of the Trinity worship bulletin each week, in order that we might be frequently reminded of who we are and why we’re here.

A person who visits a worship service at Trinity will find a warm and welcoming group of people who enjoy showing Christian hospitality. There will be tangible expressions of openness to guests in the form of a “visitor’s bag” containing a handmade gift from our Center for Faith & Art, newsletter and an introductory brochure.

As a visitor becomes more involved at Trinity – and eventually joins the church, he or she is invited to grow alongside other Christians into a deeper relationship with Christ. To this end we have a wide variety of classes, small groups, ministry groups, and service groups that are designed to receive new people. We like to say that Trinity isn’t satisfied to simply have the pews full on Sundays; we want each person to enjoy a dynamic and active faith.

Finally, at Trinity we emphasize that a disciple of Christ reflects the self-giving love of God. Thus we offer a number of places where people can exercise their spiritual gifts; where they can serve others and practice faithful stewardship.

If you’re considering a visit to Trinity, please know how happy we would be to welcome you. Furthermore, feel free to contact me personally using the phone number or email address found in this website.

Grace & Peace,
